Aaron Sawyer, Ph.D., appointed Chief Strategy Officer

Gritter Francona is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Sawyer, Ph.D., as Chief Strategy Officer for Gritter Francona, a leading Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and its joint venture, Greenside Solutions.

Dr. Sawyer has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience and 15 years of consulting expertise, including extensive work supporting the Veterans Health Administration and Military Health System. As Chief Strategy Officer, he will lead strategic planning and market analysis efforts, ensuring the company's investments, capabilities, and partnerships remain aligned with emerging federal priorities and client needs. A globally recognized expert in implementation science and high reliability organizations, Dr. Sawyer will help drive innovation and strengthen the company's ability to anticipate and respond to evolving mission requirements. Dr. Sawyer has published several peer reviewed studies, including collaborating with VHA leaders on a recent article in Military Medicine focused on outcomes from VHA’s HRO journey. His leadership will further enhance Gritter Francona's ability to deliver measurable value and mission impact for Veterans, service members, and other national security stakeholders.

Dr. Sawyer earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Missouri, as well as a Master’s Degree in experimental psychology from Western Washington University. He completed post-doctoral training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and is a licensed psychologist. He is certified as a Project Management Professional, Prosci® Change Management Practitioner, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
